An early morning getaway but we didn't miss the traffic - the 10 k bike path along the river out of Graz was busy with commuters coming in.
I do love the European signs as you enter a city, and then when you exit it is simply a red line. Been there, done that.
And once we left Graz following the R2 the scenery was stunning and the wind at our backs. The photos speak for themselves.
The bike path was easy to follow, easy to ride and safe. Although if we needed help it was good to know a helicopter rescue was an option 😳
And there was of course history along the way (this section of the highway built in the 1800's)
Lunch (and a nap) at Bruck en der Mur
And we finished our ride in Leoben.
Stats:
Very sad to report that my Strava is not syncing my ride today. 😟
I have tried restarting my phone, logging out of the app, deleting unnecessary files from my phone to free up space and recording a new activity on Strava and syncing it.
Any other advice would be welcomed.
Nothing is working.
But I know in my heart and in my legs, we did a tough 75 today!
