What a day!
The ride out of Pest and through Buda was easy, well signed and safe (and a wee bit hilly). Great bike lanes and a tunnel under the train station. Beautiful poppy-lines trails and lots of signs (at first).
Some good climbs and lovely views of vineyards, and we came upon a bike ride and stopped to enjoy the energy and have a snack (see green arrow)

And then we came along the trail of the race (we were going against them) so we cheered! And got some great down hills Aon freshly paved paths for miles and miles.
And then... The freshly paved trail ended 😳
We managed, it is Saturday, no one was working!
Tonight we are camping on a small lake and happy to have a night in our tent.
Go Leafs Go!!!!!
