Heviz to Vasvar
What a lovely ride through blossoming trees and fields of crops and roads lines with wild flowers and .... You got it, POPPIES! And not a cloud in the sky (well ok, maybe one or two).
One little village had an impressive birds nest on a telephone pole and as I got closer she came out - strike a pose!
The villages are close together and quiet. Every house has a fence and a gate. Always closed. And all of them are different designs. It is fascinating. And almost every house has a dog. Some rides it feels like we start a symphony - or a game of telephone. The first village dog says "hello" and announces our arrival and then it just creates a flow of barks down the street "cyclists!" "Did you scare them" "I can bark louder let me try" 😂 To be honest the fences are not that high so sometimes it is a little unnerving. (Bandit would hop over them in a second!)
We had some hills. Some tough hills, but it was a great ride today. World class. Look out Tour here we come 😉
