Breakfast this morning at our campsite, we found a table by the "basin", which holds water for the trees and vines. Quite beautiful really.
And the old farm house with it's deep windows, let in the sun and the sky.
And then we said goodbye to the mountain range and took a lovely old rail trail bike path to Chateaurenard to camp.
Settled in for the night, enjoying the camp ground and our new neighbors (mostly German, lots of Dutch), who kindly shared a hammer to help us get the tent pegs into the parched ground.
Stats for today.
Hot!
Happy Sunday
ReplyDeleteI took Robert cycling to Erin and we took the short cut on 8th line .. Told him I had a beautiful surprise, didn't mentioned the hill and gravel lol, it was hard packed, but we still had to walk it. Rested by the Falls , was magnificent especially since it had rained for a week. I am so happy to follow you guys , the water Badin is so magical, this big new trap, Marc is preparing food is new?

ReplyDeleteNice distance in the 70k range- nice! People live on fresh veggies ( a bit of cheese) and a baguette!!! Love the stop at the olive oil spot- sounds very cool. HI is almost the same as camping!!! Not! Go Leafs, go Team Red Bull - and go Marc & Carolyn!! Cheers…Bruni
