Good morning
We just decided to follow the EV1 route. I had imagined it much more coastal but infact there was a lot of lovely forest path, hard packed dirt and some gravel.
Every so often we would pop out to some fields, and more marsh lands, and then once in a while, a beach.
There were many more cyclists today, "Bonjour!" "Bonjour!". I am never really sure if I should speak the local language or my mother-tongue? Of course the time I announced "Bonjourno", well I know that was wrong🤣
We did follow one (much younger) couple, also heavily laden with panniers, for quite a while
And then at the next beach stop she threw her arms around him, and she had the biggest smile ever! It really felt like he proposed. That's the story we are going with! 🥰
Very tough winds at points today. Putting the tent up was like kite surfing! In fact the woman in the RV next to our site came over and suggested we move sites as we were in the windiest location. She even went to the front desk to tell them we had moved. Merci!
Another day closer to finishing stage 3.
Nantes arrival is anticipated on Friday.
Thanks for following along with us in our adventure.
You could say Hello/Bonjour, they will think you are a Canadian flight Attendant. Cheers
