Day 38 - Hills to Avallon

The story for today is HILLS 

Nothing too steep (except one down hill that was very very steep). But it was all about the hills and surfaces today - we started on a long climb on gravel 😳

The sunny skies followed us, but happily some clouds moved in to grant some relief on the climbs. 

The gravel was very slow going, but we made up some time on some smooth surfaces and big (down) hills. 

It is very pretty countryside of rolling hills and different crops, and a wind farm. 

Our lunch stop was on a bench just outside a little.town, by the cemetery. An impressive stone wall around the tombstones, all.piled neatly on each other, nothing holding them together. 

After the very steep down hill we came through Avallon to the municipal camping getting ready for tomorrow and Parc Morvan.
