Day 35 - On The Road Again

Today we rode east, into Burgundy. 

We found some hills to enjoy and farms and some forest, and a few little villages, which were all mostly shuttered. 

I don't think we saw any other cyclists today, we have definitely left the Loire. And we are following mostly D roads. 

A few kilometers along the canal.

And then we found the small roads. 

D roads. And C roads. Basically 2 way roads too small for painting lines. 

And the forest. 

And some shade thankfully. 

And quite a lot of freshly paved smooth road. 

The final 10 kms were a little more focused. No photos. 2 lane road, 90 km and little shoulder. But it was no trouble. Cars and trucks are patient and careful around cyclists. 

Back to some climbs, but also some great descents.
