We found a beautiful route out of Saltzburg that did not involve any crazy big climbs.
The path was pretty along a river with a great bridge for bikes under the highway bridge, and an amazing good bye view of Saltzburg.
We cycled all day in sunshine as the Alps stayed on the horizon, but seemed to be moving away.
We were in Germany before we even realized. The car license plates say D, the house and villages are not as neat and tidy and orderly, and the bike path signs are simple and to the point.
Bicycle. This way. One green arrow. That's all you need. Cows...?
We made this route last night, to get to a campground. We were not sure what to expect, but it was stunning.
And we managed to find a campground with beer in the vending machine! Cheers to camping in Germany!
