Practice Ride

Trying to camp in Ontario in April is not that easy, but we found Craigleith Provincial Park is open year round. So we packed up and headed north.

Lovely to find Fran and Jean for a meal, 

and then we got the tent up before the rain, and before the thunder and lightning and wind....

The tent is up!

And then we had some SURPRISE visitors...

We made it through the night, only one side of the tent collapsed, and only once ;).

Wednesday we had a great ride, meeting Rachel along the Georgian Trail, visiting the Tiny House in Meaford and enjoying a great lunch before heading to the hills.

But the ride ended with a MECHANICAL!

and we headed home before another wet windy night.
